Kristen Stewart Makes a Perfect Bella Swan.Kristen Stewart is an excellent choice to portray Bella Swan in Twilight. Stephenie Meyer herself gave the following quote on her website:"I'm very excited to have Kristen Stewart play Bella in the upcoming Twilight movie. She's an amazing actress with experience all across the board—action, horror, comedy, romance, and more. Since Twilight has moments that fit into every one of these genres, I'm thrilled to have a Bella who has practice with them all." (www.StephenieMeyer.com) This talented actress just turned 18 while working on the first Twilight movie. She has been acting in movies for almost a decade now. Here are a few that I found interesting: Bella has green eyes, so she had to wear brown contacts for the Twilight movie. She is 5’4”. She likes to surf as a hobby. Her father, Jon Stewart, is a TV producer who works for FOX television. She has one older brother, Cameron. Her mother is from Australia. When asked how she got started with her acting career, this is what she said, "I had to act in a school play when I was about ten years old. I really didn't want to do it. But everyone had to do it so I didn't have a choice. A talent agent came and watched it and later gave me some work. It's funny because I'd always known that I wanted a movie career. She likes a good story and would actually like to become a writer. She and Robert Pattinson both seem to be excellent actors who are more focused on the love of theatre and the arts rather than the entire fame and movie star scene. She seems down-to-earth and even a bit monotone when she talks during her interviews. When acting, she plays her part very well. She has been nominated four times for the Young Artist Award and once for a Screen Actors Guild Award. There are a lot of fans who are depending on Kristen Stewart to play her role as Bella extremely well through out the entire saga. She will most likely do an excellent job as she recreates our favorite female character onscreen.
