New Moon Movie - The Second Flick in the Twilight Saga

There are varying opinions on the latest of the Twilight Saga films- New Moon. Rotten Tomatoes review says: "To the general public, New Moon has been described as The Twilight Saga's second installment, may satisfy hardcore fans of the series, but outsiders are likely to be turned off by its slow pace, relentlessly downcast tone, and excessive length." I am personally a hardcore Twilight fan, so I not only enjoyed, but totally relished every minute of this Twilight sequel! I can't even fathom what non-twilighters are thinking when they watch the Twilight movies. There is so much going on and each scene carries so much meaning. Everything leads into the next story as well. I can completely understand how non-twilighters would give this vampire flick a bad review. You cannot get the depth and meaning of each scene from the movie. You need to know the entire story to get it all, to understand how good it really is.

The Twilight sequel had a lot of improvements on the first Twilight movie. I loved that the characters were "glammed up" and there was a lot more color. The vampires eyes were quite bright and the scenery was at times breathtaking (especially when in Italy.) I loved how theatrical it seemed with awesome aerial shots and music perfection. Much of the movie had Bella writing to Alice's email, which I thought was a fantastic way to make sure that the story continued to be from Bella's head. All of the computer graphics were excellent and really went right along with the book.

The New Moon movie infused me with renewed passion for the Twilight saga. I love Twilight for the passion it awakens in me and in others. If Twlight speaks to you- then the New Moon movie will too! I hope you watch- many times! Go get some tickets and enjoy!
