Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed was 13 when she got her unusual start into the movie world. She wrote a screenplay with Twilight’s movie director Catherine Hardwicke in just 6 days! They knew each other because Catherine was dating her father back then. Catherine was helping Nikki with writing as a creative outlet to heal from Nikki's past life experiences. It seems as though it worked. This screenplay later became the award-winning movie Thirteen. It was about Nikki’s early teen life.

Nikki went from being a straight- A student to an experimental, troubled teen in about one weekend. Nikki ended up playing the best friend of the character who played her in the movie. From then on – she has continued to play the bad, sexy girl in many films. Twilight is no exception to this rule. She is playing Rosalie Hale, the most beautiful girl in the world. Although she is not naturally blond like Rosalie, I am sure we will all be able to picture her as the Rosalie that we get so frustrated with in the Twilight books. Nikki is hopeful and excited for the future Twilight movies which will show more depth and layers to her character Rosalie Hale.
