Twilight Fans Delight in Twilight DVD Release!

The Twilight DVD hit the stores in 2009. Now we look forward to New Moon coming out onto DVD in March of this year. The director Chris Weitz states that there will be 20 minutes of deleted scenes! (http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1626922/story.jhtml)

Some of the scenes include:

-A scene with Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria driving to Forks in a car, snacking on a dead human. It was one of the final moments the actress filmed as the nomadic vampire.

-A scene with the human characters eating Burger King.

-Another scene with the humans, this time with Justin Chon and Michael Welch expressing jealousy over Edward's car.

-More scenes with the Volturi in Italy.

-An extended cut of the scene we Mike Newton quotes Shakespeare to Bella in the Forks High parking lot; in it, he does a Marlon Brando impersonation. (This should be hilarious.)

-Scenes alluding to the ongoing breakup between Newton and Anna Kendrick's Jessica.

It is rumored that March 24, 2010 is the BIG day in our part of the world for the DVD! Release parties will be held across the world and fans will be able to watch the movie over and over and over again. We won't be able to help ourselves from repeating our very favorite scenes and memorizing more movie lines.

You can order this vampire flick on Amazon.com as a regular 2-disc set, digital movie, digital movie rental, or you can buy Amazon’s Ultimate Twilight Collector’s set (which includes pictures, a collector’s case, the sound track, jewelry, and letter of authenticity.) Target has a 3-disc set that has “over 45-minutes of never-before-seen content” and an ITunes download of the movie and bonus material. Borders carries a Special Edition 2-disc DVD set which includes “10 exclusive photo cards.” Barnes and Nobles offers a free customizable Twilight Skin from skinit.com for your cell phone, PDA, or MP3 Player with each DVD. Hot Topic is offering their 2-disc set with an Edward movie cell.
